Today in Grade 1 we....
Reading and Language arts: Reviewed and discussed what are elements of elements of a story. What are the following terms and how to recognize them in a story: title, writer, setting, characters and plot. We also integrated problems and solutions into the lessons. This is a way to work up to writing our first book report.
Introduction to chapter 10: Place Values! We learned what place values mean and where we can identify the ones, tens and hundreds place.
Science: Completed Science Review to prepare for Unit 7: Weather and Seasons assessment tomorrow.
