Language Arts: We continued to make sentences, proofread and discussed how important capital letters and periods are. Began understanding and making our own Telling Sentences.
Math: We add 2 part to make a whole. We used plastic colored counters to work in groups putting them together and counting the whole amount. We will be practicing our addition skills all week!
Social Studies: Introduction to maps, legends, symbols and getting around. We made our own symbols for a map inside of our SS workbook.
Science: Today we became scientist and proposed a new a question: Would we find more green leaves or brown leaved on the playground floor.

We discussed our hypothesis (guess) and planned a procedure. We went outside and wrote down data to communicate our findings. We really were like scientist!
Homework tonight: Create a map of your house with your parents. Include symbols for at least three things.
