Friday 5/20 - Chinese / PE / Computer
Monday 5/23 - Health / Art
HALF DAYS:
Wednesday 5/25 - Social Studies / Science / Phonics
Thursday 5/26 - Language Arts / Math
Full Day: Friday 05/27 - Final Day for taking home books (may bring a larger bag to take home), cleaning classroom, class group activities and Miya's Birthday party!
EARLY DISMISSAL
Monday 5/30 - Gradation for Kindergarten and Grade 5!
Today I have sent home reviews for all classes except Math which will be sent home tomorrow. If you have any questions about the study guide please feel free to contact me. The Language Arts is very similar to Quarter 3 since we will be reviewing the whole years concepts, with a few changes.
Homework:
Math: Please make sure your child brings a ruler to class that has both measurements in inches as well as centimeter.
Phonics: Complete Worksheet in Assignment book (back and front)
Students may keep Study Guides at home, we will be sending books home starting Thursday for Major Exams. If there is any you would like before pelase send me a message to let me know. Thank you!

This week there will be no spelling test since we will be focusing on wrapping up the remaining units in all classes and begin reviews. Reviews will start being sent home tomorrow (Phonics, Science and Social Studies).
Dates for the major final quarter exams are as follows:

Half Day Thursday 5/26 - Language Arts, Math
I will be posting up the dates for the minor exams shortly, I am just waiting for confirmation from all teachers for dates.

Today we worked hard at drafting and rewriting our newest paragraph "My Trip"...We peer checked our math problems and tried some quick rounds of adding and subtracting, as well as word problems.
Important information:
Tomorrow is the final mass of the year, please send students in regular uniform and PE uniform in their bag to change after mass.
I will be sending the first reviews for final exams home on Tuesday of next week as well as posting up the final exams schedule.

Hi everyone!
Today we spent time discussing important parts of American history and the days we celebrate a special person or part of history such as: Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Day, Veteran's Day, Presidents's Day.
We learned about sounds in Science, how they are made by vibrations and their loudness can be measured by high or soft, and pitch can be high or low.
Phonics: Review of consonant blends and new sounds.
Homework:
Phonics: Read "The Gray Wolf" to a family member or tutor.
Math: COmplete Pages 481-482
